I. Brand & Family 'Fellom Ranch' Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Sourced from the historic Fellom Ranch on Montebello Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains, just outside Saratoga, Ian Brand crafts his Cabernet Sauvignon from the northeast-facing slopes overlooking San Francisco Bay and the famed Ridge Montebello vineyard. Planted in 1980 and 1982, these vines produce fruit of remarkable litheness and finesse. After de-stemming and light crushing, the wine is fermented and aged in a mix of Stockinger and neutral barrels, unfined and unfiltered. This is serious Santa Cruz terroir, and Brand’s deft touch transforms it into a standout California Cabernet deserving of attention.
