Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet "Les Enseigneres" 2022

Fun Fact: Les Enseigneres is a parcel right across from the legendary Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet. Legends of the likes of Coche-Dury and Pierre Yves Colin Morey have plots in this small parcel. 

A little paler in colour with striking class and indeed some elegance. Just a little vanilla but it is really the intensity of white fruit speaking. I was thinking 1er cru at first sniff. The oak returns on the palate, no problem at this early stage, because there is a wealth of fruit to accompany it. The balance and the finish are impeccable. Old vines again.
