Cascina Penna Currado, Barbera d'Alba 'Carrà' 2022

Luca and Elena have long been champions of Barbera d’Alba, having been among the first to recognize and invest in its potential to express the Langhe’s unique terroir. Their dedication to this grape continues with the Carrà vineyard, located in the San Sebastiano area of Monforte, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity. The Barbera comes from two parcels—one planted in 1965, the other in 2000—yielding a wine of rich concentration without excessive ripeness. Vinified partially whole cluster and aged in traditional botti, this Barbera captures both depth and finesse, offering a true taste of the region.
