2023 Bevan Cellars EE Red Wine

Russell Bevan crafts intensely expressive, small-lot Napa Valley reds with a focus on pure fruit, structure, and long aging potential. The EE (named for a key early supporter) has long been one of the winery’s flagship bottlings, showcasing the interplay of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Out of the bottle it is a bold, full-bodied red blend. I’ve found mixed answers and show minor variation in exact percentages on the blend of this wine. So we are Somewhere around 55–60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40–45% Cabernet Franc, with one including a small amount of Merlot.
