2022 Domaine Guiberteau Brézé Saumur

Domaine Guiberteau is a leading organic estate in Saumur (Loire Valley), run by Romain Guiberteau since the late 1990s; he is widely regarded as one of the top producers of Chenin Blanc in the region, with a particular focus on the exceptional limestone terroirs of Brézé. 

Shows lemon zest, white peach, green apple, flint, wet chalk, and mineral smoke, with hints of fennel, quince, and sea spray. The palate is powerful yet electric, with bright citrus and orchard fruit, firm acidity, sleek concentration, and a long, saline, tense finish.
