2022 Chappellet Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Donn and Molly Chappellet fell in love with the steep, rocky slopes of Pritchard Hill in the late 1960s and never looked back. What began as a bold bet on mountain Cabernet has become one of Napa’s most enduring and soulful expressions of the grape. This wine is their purest love letter to that place and the flagship that carries the family’s vision of power wrapped in elegance.

Inside the bottle, 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot. It opens with deep cassis, blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, caramel, and a whisper of mocha and graphite. On the palate it is full-bodied, supple and generous, expansive yet refined, with soft, fully ripe tannins and a long, velvety finish that lingers with dark fruit, spice, and mountain minerality. In a challenging vintage it stands out for its density, balance, and pure deliciousness. It will drink beautifully for two decades.
