2021 Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino

Il Marroneto is a small, family-run estate in Montalcino (north of the town) led by Alessandro Mori and his son,  celebrated for elegant, precise, traditional Brunello of exceptional purity and finesse from north-facing vineyards.

 Perfumes of rose, peony, lavender, and lilac over a sweet earthy backdrop, with dark red cherry, raspberry, black cherries, dried flowers, licorice, and intoxicating violets. It is seamless and silken, with great density, refined suede-like tannins, graceful acidity, piercing minerality, and a long, polished finish.
