2021 Castello di Bolgheri Bolgheri Superiore

One of the most privileged positions in Bolgheri, vineyards that almost sit right between Sassicaia and Ornellaia. With Conte Federico Zileri Dal Verme at the helm, he has quietly turned this historic property into one of the most exciting voices on the Tuscan coast.

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, it shows pure blackcurrant, black cherry and lavender, with a touch of iron and dried herbs. The palate is focused, polished and with substance. An elegant finish that still carries energy and freshness. It has both power and restraint making it a classic Bolgheri expression that already feels complete, yet will only grow more refined.
